Sherman Creek Outfitters has been successfully guiding hunts for over 15 years in Elk, WA. Sherman Creek Outfitters is run by owner/operators Joe and Jodi Rasmussen. Joe and Jodi are not your typical owners as they themselves are avid hunters and make a family event out of all parts of their operation. They are a true hunting family that really enjoys what they do.

Joe has been hunting his whole life and will do everything he can to make your hunt as successful as possible. He takes his responsibility as your guide very seriously and strives to have every guest depart happy, successful, and planning their next hunting excursion. Joe takes his profession seriously and does all that he can to ensure your hunting experience is a true wildlife adventure. He see's his profession as a year round commitment and it shows.

Jodi will be your host and cook during your hunt. Jodi love's to cook and meet new people. The best part is waiting for the hunters to come in from their hunt and being able to congratulate them on their success. This is very exciting as we have 3 boys (19-14-10) and they love to see all the game that our hunters harvest. They are also there to help out in any way.

Sherman Creek Outfitters is located 20 miles north of Spokane, WA. If you are flying, you will fly into the Spokane International Airport in Spokane, WA. We are about 30 miles NE of the airport. There are rental cars in the airport next to baggage claim that you can pick-up. The drive time to get to our location is about 45 minutes.

Sherman Creek Outfitters is proud to now offer airport pickup. As you can imagine Joe and Jodi are extremely busy so their oldest son Ben has offered to perform this task. Pickup is available from 8 am to 8 pm. Cost of this will be $120 round trip. Payment for this service will be due at the time of pick-up. Contact Ben directly at 509-723-7519 to arrange pickup.

All of Sherman Creek Outfitters hunts are over the counter tags. You can get them on-line or pick them up when you get in to town along with anything else you may find you need or forgot. Moose tags are by random draw only!

We ask everyone come in late afternoon/early evening the day prior to their hunt to have dinner with us and give you time to get settled in before the morning hunt.

Your accommodations include fully furnished new cabins. All of our cabins have electric heaters, refrigerators, color TV's with DVD players and all linens. All cabins accommodate 2-4 hunters. If you purchase a second hunt from an E-bay listing for a second hunter you must use the same guide while in camp. Wireless connectivity is now available as well. So feel free to bring your laptop while you are here! Unless you are coming as a couple you can expect to share our cabins with other hunters. There are shower and bath accommodations near the cabins for the hunters to use. In the summer of 2008 a new shower house was built near the cabins. All meals and other activities take place in the Trophy Room.

A Successful Day at Sherman Creek Outfitters

The morning hunt time starts at different times for different game, but we will have rolls and muffins, along with coffee, tea, orange juice or cocoa before you head out in the morning. Packed lunches will be provided for you take in the field if you are not going to be at the lodge for lunch. After the hunt you will come back for a nice, warm home cooked meal.

While we try to accommodate some request please understand that the included meals are limited to those listed above. Additional food, drinks and alcohol are NOT included as part of the hunt package. There are places to pick these items up on your way to Sherman Creek Outfitters or some local stores in Elk, WA once you are here.

That is the time everyone can kick back, have a drink and relax while visiting, watching TV, hunting movies or playing some video games.

Our job is to make sure that everyone gets the best opportunity possible to harvest their trophy. Just as important though is we want our hunters to have a memorable time here with us. We love to make new friends and have fun during the hunt while being successful!!!
