Hunting Overview

All of our deer hunts are 1 on 1 unless you are hunting from a tree stand or blind. In this case you will be alone but, your guide will be on the property to assist with your harvest or any other concerns you may have.

Our cabins sleep 2-4 people. Unless you are coming in as a couple you can expect to share your cabin with other hunters.

All of our hunts are "FAIR CHASE" and are therefore not guaranteed. This is real hunting for real hunters. This is NOT a high fence operation. The pictures that are contained on this web site are all animals harvested on our properties.

Hunting Guidelines

Sherman Creek Outfitters wants to do everything to ensure that your hunt is a success. Because we know that everyone has different hunting backgrounds we want to make sure that everyone understand what we expect of our hunters.

WE ASK THAT THERE BE ABSOLULTELY:

• NO SMOKING - in cabins, cars, blinds, tree stands or while on hunting property.
• NO SPRAYING SCENTS OR SCENT ELIMINATORS IN CABINS - you can hang outside on line to spray them.
• NO TALKING OUT LOUD or SLAMMING DOORS - while outside on the hunting properties.
• NO WONDERING AROUND - stay in your stand until dark.
• NO LEAVING GARBAGE - if you pack it in, please pack it out with you.
• NO URINATING AT HUNTING SITES - you may do so before getting to and away from the stands or blinds.
• NO SHOOTING AND LEAVING ANY GAME - any shoot is to be searched for by you and the guide. NEVER ASSUME YOU MISSED, ALWAYS BE SURE!

Reminder Items

We supply a continental breakfast, lunch and dinner, but some people like to snack throughout the day. Please bring or pick up any of these items you may need.

1. Any extra snacks, alcohol, water bottles and soda you may want. (Refillable water bottles works great for hunting.)

2. Tree stand Safety Harness or Safety Vest.

3. Bow or Gun rope to pull you weapon into the stand.

4. Orange vest for rifle hunters only.

5. Your own bath towels.

We want to make sure you have a safe and sucessful hunt.
